One of our accountants will follow up — usually the same day. We’ll ask about your activity: what kind of work you do, when you started, whether you’re a sole trader or a Ltd company, whether you’re VAT-registered, and what’s outstanding (if anything) with Revenue.

This is also where we tell you exactly what services you’ll need and what they cost. No surprise invoices, ever.

We onboard you to our ROS account

To act for you with Revenue, we need to be added as your registered tax agent. We only need two things from you: your full name and your PPS number. We then submit the agent-link request from our ROS account on your behalf.

Why this matters

Once linked, we can view your records, submit returns, and communicate with Revenue directly — so you never have to navigate ROS, Form 11, or VAT3 yourself.

You approve us in MyAccount

This is a recent Revenue requirement and the only step where you need to log in yourself. You’ll receive a notification in MyAccount on Revenue.ie asking you to approve Digitax as your agent. One tap and it’s done.

Access granted. App goes live.

Within 2–3 working days of your approval, Revenue grants us access. You’ll get a confirmation message and an invitation to download the Digitax app. From here, your tax life moves into one place:

Every submission, handled

When a deadline approaches — VAT3, Form 11, payroll, RCT, CRO B1 — you’ll hear from us first. We’ll confirm everything we need is in (via the app, or whichever channel you prefer), prepare the return, and review it with you before submission.

Once you confirm, we file directly with Revenue and send written confirmation back to you — by app, email, WhatsApp, or your preferred method. Done.

Is my date safe?

Yes. We’re GDPR-compliant, Revenue-registered, and bound by the same professional confidentiality rules as any qualified accountancy practice. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored on EU-based servers, and never shared without your written consent.

Of course — and it’s straightforward. We send a short letter to your previous accountant requesting your records (this is standard practice in Ireland), and we re-register as your agent on ROS. You don’t need to chase anyone. Most switches are complete within 2 weeks.

We deal with this every week. Tell us what’s outstanding (or let us check ROS once you’re onboarded) and we’ll work through it: late returns, surcharges, payment arrangements, Revenue correspondence. The sooner we look, the smaller the problem.

No. The app makes life easier — receipts in your pocket, a live tax position, in-app chat — but plenty of clients prefer email, WhatsApp, or even paper receipts dropped to the office. Pick the channel that suits you.

From your first enquiry to live service is typically 2–4 working days. The agent link itself takes 2–3 working days from the moment you approve us in MyAccount. After that, you’re fully operational: app access, accountant assigned, deadlines tracked.

  • Digitax App — €9.99/month or €79/year (save ~30% on the annual plan)
  • VAT3 return — €35 per return, pay as you go
  • Form 11 (annual income tax return) — €370, pay as you go
  • Monthly bookkeeping — quoted on a per-business basis; we’ll scope it with you on the discovery call

Not at all. We work with clients all over Ireland — Cork, Galway, Limerick, the West, the border counties. Everything happens digitally. If you ever want to come in for a coffee, our office is in Dublin.
